About me
My name is Boris Katalinić .
I was born in Zagreb, 08.07.1994 . I lived in Kutina, small city located approx. 80 km from Croatian capital Zagreb. Since the summer of 2014 I live in Germany.
I finished elementary school in Kutina . After elementary school , I enrolled in high school , " August Senoa " in Garešnica where I completed a three-year curriculum after which I became extra chefs . As a long-term plan to continue my training in the field of culinary art in school year 2013/2014 I ended up at the Open University Novska additional training to acquire the IV level where I became salesmen . I chose another occupation of salesman because I think that basic knowledge of economics later during my further professional training will be useful in the running of the kitchen when I gain the title of master chef as my primary goal for the next two years .
For the topic of my final paper in cooking school I chose hot appetizers rice . Interest in Culinary appeared to me in childhood because I often stayed in the kitchen while mom cooked something .
I'm young and ambitious and interested solely the work of the chef profession and training in order to be better prepared and gained more references before gain the title of master chefs . I am ready for a serious and responsible work in the kitchen and I am very interested in actively working environment in which I can continue to progress , improve and further educate myself .
I use the English language , and the last year learn the German language . I have work experience 2,5 year . The practical part of my education I did in Hotel "KUTINA" in my hometown Kutina.
My last job was working in the kitchen in a luxury Hotel " LAFODIA " on the croatian island of Lopud where I worked four months as an assistant chef . This superb hotel with a large modern kitchen gave me even more motivated for further training and work in cooking profession . In the kitchen I passed all phases and activities that exist in a well-organized kitchen. I worked on the preparation of various kinds of dishes starting from appetizers , salads , hot and cold dishes as well as freelance work on the grill .
Since July 2014, I worked in a restaurant "BADGARTEN" in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
